Primary Speaker - Belinda Ballenger
is a Master Teacher of American Christian History, and has ministered in the field for over 30 years. With her extensive training and experience, she speaks with a dynamic enthusiasm that makes God's action in history "come alive" for her listeners. She has ministered as a seminar speaker, speaking to groups in size from 10 to 1,000 and has taught frequently on both radio and television. Miss Ballenger directed Restore America Institute in Columbus, Ohio where she established American history studies for hundreds of children, adults and teachers in the West, Midwest and Canada. In 1985, Miss Ballenger received a personal commendation from Congressman Jack Kemp for writing "A Family Study on the Life of George Washington." She received "The Verna M Hall Research Award" for storytelling, pictured below. Miss Ballenger also served as a classroom teacher, and curriculum consultant. Belinda Ballenger represented the Foundation for American Christian Education of San Francisco for seven summers. Traveling across the country, she taught American history, government and an educational philosophy to pastors, administrators, teachers, college students and businessmen. She teaches using the "Principle Approach to American Christian Education." ("The Principle Approach" refers to America's traditional method of biblical reason applied to life and academic subjects) Belinda is a graduate of Biola University with a double major in History & Bible. She is currently focused on storytelling & writing on Biblical & American History for adults and young people.
